The script editor allows the user to build a script ‘Tree’ which has a single start point and one or more End points. No programming or coding skills are required.
A series of Steps are added to the Tree and classed as either a question or answer. Each Step will lead to a further Step (i.e. another question) or an End point (i.e. the problem is resolved). Each Step can contain a number of HTML elements including text, images, video, pick lists, text entry, references and links. These items are added to the step text as the script is built using an HTML text editor. The content of each step can vary according to the target Audience and Device. This allows the same Tree to be used for internal and external users and for multiple devices. Once the scripts have been created, tested and agreed, they can be immediately published into the production environment for use. |
